White Cliffs Rangers Football Club was set up during April 2007, with the aim of promoting the sport of football in the local area, at amateur level, for the local community’s participation. White Cliffs Rangers Football Club is based in Dover, Kent, at the heart of the White Cliffs Country.
 
During May 2007, the Club applied to the Kent County Football Association, as a new Club, to become an affiliated member of the KCFA. The Club was granted affiliation to the KCFA during June 2007, and the Club name of 'White Cliffs Rangers Football Club' was officially registered with the Kent County Football Association, as a Football Club.
 
During April 2007, the Club applied for entry to the Parker Steel East Kent Youth Football League, to participate in the 2007 / 2008 season. The application was successful, as the Club was voted in as a member of the East Kent Youth Football League during the Leagues AGM, 22nd June 2007. The Club which currently has one youth team, will be entered into the Under 15's age group for the 2007 / 2008 season. At the Leagues meeting, 3rd July 2007, it was decided that the Under 15's would participate in Division 3.
White Cliffs Rangers FC finished the 2007 - 2008 season in 6th place, with a total of 28 points.
 
The Club has a development plan, which will see more teams established over the forthcoming seasons.
 
Club Objectives
• To create an enjoyable and safe environment for children to develop their football skills, and play in competitive competitions.
• To allow parents / guardians to become involved as volunteers.
• To allow parents / guardians to become involved with the running of the club by becoming members of the club committee.
• The implementation of policies, as per The Football Association guidelines, and policies as per the law of the land, to safeguard the children’s welfare and create a quality establishment.
• Arrange Association Football matches and social activities for its members.
• To work towards Charter Club Standard Status. If successful, the club will be awarded with the the FA's kite mark of quality, which will bring benefits to the club.
• The enrolment of all players into The FA Soccer star Challenge, where the children can develop their football skills and be awarded for their personal achievements, with certificates and badges.
 
Charter Standard Club
White Cliffs Rangers FC applied to The Kent County FA for Charter Standard Club Status 21st May 2008. The FA's Charter Standard Club Status was awarded to White Cliffs Rangers FC 27th May 2008.

 


 

Training

The Club holds training sessions every Saturday. Sessions last 2hrs.

 

Training Fees

Training fees per person are £1 a session.
 
Match Days
Match Days throughout the season are on Sundays.

 

Match Fees

Match fees per person are £3 per match.

 

Club Membership Registration Fees

Club Membership Registration fees per person are £10 for the season.

 

 
Club Officials
In compliance with the FA Handbook, and the Club's Child Protection Policy, all Club Officials and Team Helpers have been screened via the FA's CRB Enhanced Disclosure Checks.
 
Club Committee
The Club Committee has been made up of the parents of the children from the founding team.
 
Team Coach
The Team Coach is certificated as an FA qualified coach at Level 2, and is in possession of a valid First Aid Certificate. He is a member of FACA and the KCFA Coaches Association.  The Team Coach also holds a Level 1 Certificate in Futsal and in April 2008 he successfully completed the FA's Level 1 in Coaching Disabled Footballers.
 
Fitness Instructor
The Team Fitness Instructor is fully qualified in his duties.
 
Club Welfare Officer
The Club Welfare Officer has completed the FA's Child Protection and Club Welfare Officers Workshops, and is registered with the FA's CRB Unit as the Club's Designated Person. 
 
Player Council 
White Cliffs Rangers Football Club has set up a Player Council, so that the players can discuss Club issues and other concerns with each other. A member of the Player Council will be invited to each Club Committee meeting so that they can relay the content to the rest of the Player Council, and submit the Player Councils ideas, comments, and any other business to the Club Committee.
