Travelling From The Folkestone Direction
1. Follow the A20 to Dover.
2. Pass Through 4 Roundabouts, heading towards the Eastern Docks (Still on the A20).
3. After the fourth Roundabout, travelling along Townwall Street, pass through the first set of Traffic Lights, and turn Left
at the 2nd set of traffic lights onto Woolcomber Street (The Leisure Centre is on the corner).
4. Take the First Right onto St James Street.
5. Turn Right onto A258 / Castle Hill Road.
6. After Passing the Castle, which is on the right, and passing Connaught Road which is on the left, take the Next Left,
onto Guston Road.
7. Stay on this road for approx 0.7 mile.
8. Take the next Left into Old Charlton Road.
9. Continue down the hill, and the Danes Recreation Ground is on the Right.
Travelling From The Canterbury Direction
1. Follow the A2 (Dover Road) to the Whitfield Roundabout.
2. Take Exit 2, staying on the A2 (Jubilee Way), Heading towards the Eastern Docks.
3. At the next Roundabout, take the 3rd exit, onto A258, Dover Bound.
4. Stay on A258 for approx 1.1 mile.
5. After passing Upper Road on the left (the Castle is also on the left), take the first Right onto Guston Road, and follow
the road for approx 0.7 miles.
6. Take the next Left into Old Charlton Road.
7. Continue down the hill, and the Danes Recreation Ground is on the Right.
Travelling From The Thanet Direction
1. Follow the A256 (Sandwich Road) to Dover.
2. At the Roundabout, take Exit 1 onto the A2 (Jubilee Way) and head towards the Eastern Docks.
3. At the next Roundabout, take the 3rd exit, onto A258, Dover Bound.
4. Stay on A258 for approx 1.1 mile.
5. After passing Upper Road on the left (the Castle is also on the left), take the first Right onto Guston Road, and follow
the road for approx 0.7 miles.
6. Take the next Left into Old Charlton Road.
7. Continue down the hill, and the Danes Recreation Ground is on the Right.
